Rules of Three Card Poker
Three Card Poker is played against the dealer. A single deck of 52 cards is used, which is shuffled after each round.
You can play Three Card Poker Live with chip sizes from €1 up to €5,000. The overall theoretical return to player of the Ante bet is 96.63%.
To start the game, you need to place an Ante bet and one or more of the optional side bets Pair Plus or 6 Card Bonus bet. You will then be dealt three cards face up, and the dealer will get three face down cards.
If your hand is good enough, you can continue the game by clicking on PLAY, which costs 1x your Ante. However, if you think your hand isn't good enough you can Fold, but then you will lose your Ante.
After players have made their decisions, the dealer will reveal their cards, and you'll find out who won the game. The dealer needs at least the a high card Queen to qualify.
There are different outcomes possible, resulting in a win, loss or push.
- Dealer doesn't qualify + Player wins: Ante pays 1:1, Play bet Push
- Dealer qualifies + Player wins: Ante pays 1:1, Play bet pays 1:1
- Dealer qualifies + Player loses: Ante lost, Play bet lost
- Dealer qualifies + Player ties: Ante bet Push, Play bet push
- Player folds: Ante lost
If the player continues and places the Play bet, and has an initial Straight Flush, Three of a Kind or Straight they will win an additional Ante bonus. You can win this bonus, even if the dealer wins the round.
- Straight Flush or better pays 5:1
- Three of a Kind pays 4:1
- Straight pays 1:1
The winning hands in Three Card Poker are ranked as follows:
- Mini Royal: Ace, King and Queen of the same suit
- Straight Flush: three cards of the same suit in sequence
- Three of a Kind: three cards of the same rank or numerical value
- Straight: three cards in numerical sequence, but of different suits
- Flush: three cards of the same suit, but not in sequence
- Pair: two cards of the same rank or numerical value
- High card: the highest card counts when no other combination as possible
Three Card Poker bonus bets Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus
Players have the option of placing two different bonus bets in the game. These bets can be won, even if the player folds or the dealer wins the round.
The Pair Plus bonus bet applies to the player's three cards, and the 6 Card Bonus bet applies to the player's and dealer's cards combined.
With the Pair Plus bonus bet, players bet on their own three cards. The theoretical return to player of the Pair Plus bonus bet is 95.51%.
The Pair Plus bonus bet payouts are as follows:
- Mini Royal (A, K, Q suited) pays 100:1
- Straight Flush pays 40:1
- Three of a Kind pays 30:1
- Straight pays 5:1

The 6 Card Bonus bet has more possible combinations, which can lead to a maximum payout of 1000:1. The theoretical return to player of the 6 Card Bonus bet is 91.44%.

- Four of a Kind pays 100:1
