Lightning Baccarat game rules

You can play Lightning Baccarat with stakes starting from €1 up to 500 per round. To play the game, a lightning fee of 20% your bet will also be applied, which means that your bet will be higher, making the game slightly more expensive than others.

Lightning Baccarat is played with one 52-card deck which is shuffled after every round. You can place your chips on the bets you wish to make, and once betting time is over, the Lightning round will begin.

Between one and five random cards are then drawn from a virtual 52-card deck and displayed at the bottom left side of the table. These cards will have a random multiplier assigned, which can be x2, x3, x4, x5 or x8.

Once the Lightning cards have been dealt, the dealer will draw two cards for the Player and the Banker, and if necessary a third card. The card drawing, and point scoring is the same as in regular Baccarat.

Aces are worth 1 point, cards 2 to 9 are worth their assigned value, and 10, Jack, Queen and King are worth 0 points.

If one of the Lightning cards is also present on the table, and if it's part of your winning hand, your win will be multiplied.

An example: you place a bet on the Player. The 4 of spades is drawn as a Lightning card, and is showing an x4 multiplier. The Player's hand also shows a four of spades, which would then be surrounded by a glowing frame, indicating the multiplier. The Player wins the hand, which means that you will win the x4 multiplier as well, and your payout is multiplied by four.

If you're really lucky and more than one Lightning cards as shown in your winning hand, the multipliers will multiply each other, and your winnings will be even higher.

Lightning Baccarat payouts

Lightning Baccarat applies standard payouts to winning hands that don't feature a Lightning card. A Lightning card present increases the winning hands payout.

The maximum payouts of Lightning Baccarat are as follows:

• Player bet pays 1-512:1
• Banker bet pays: 1-512:1 (95% of bet returned if Banker wins)
• Tie pays 5:1
• P Pair pays 9-576:1 if the Player's first two cards are a Pair
• B Pair pays 9-576:1 if the Banker's first two cards are a Pair

Lightning Baccarat strategy

Lightning Baccarat is a straightforward card game with only a few betting options. Since the players can only make their bets before the game starts, there is not much strategy involved to play the game, as you don't have to make in-game decisions.

The safest bet is the bet on the player, as it has the highest RTP, and the best chances of winning the round.

If you wish to take a higher risk you can place your bets on the Tie or Pair bets, but chances of winning these bets are much lower, although the payout is higher.

To play Baccarat with a strategy and the lowest risk, we recommend not playing the side bets, as they carry a much higher risk of losing the bet.

As a general rule, we don't recommend playing any Martingale strategies with Baccarat, as the risk of losing money fast is very high.
