Game rules of Caribbean Stud Poker

You can play Caribbean Stud Poker Live with bets starting from €1 up to €5,000. The game is played with one standard deck of 52 cards, which is shuffled after each round.

Once all players have placed their Ante bets, the dealer will deal five face up cards to the players, and five cards to themselves, one of which is face up, and four cards face down.

You will then have to make the decision of whether you wish to continue the game or not. To continue, a PLAY bet of 2x your Ante is required. If you Fold, you will automatically lose the round and your Ante bet.

To play Caribbean Stud Poker you should know when to continue and when to fold. This strategy will help to lower the house edge of the game.

Every hand with at least a Pair should be played
If you have a hand without any combinations, you should Fold. If you have at least an Ace and King take a look at what the dealer has as their upcard
If the dealer's upcard is lower than a Queen, and you have a card of the same rank, you should Play
If the dealer's upcard is King or Ace, you should only raise the bet if you are holding a Jack or Queen
If the dealers upcard is of lower value than your fourth highest card, and you have a Queen, then Play

Once all players have made their decision, the dealer will reveal their remaining cards, and you find out who has won.

The dealer needs at least an Ace or King high card to qualify. There are different outcomes, which are paid as follows.

Dealer doesn't qualify + Player wins: Ante pays 1:1, Play bet Push
Dealer qualifies + Player wins: Ante pays 1:1, Play bet pays according to combination achieved
Dealer qualifies + Player loses: Ante lost, Play bet lost
Dealer qualifies + Player ties: Ante bet Push, Play bet push
Player folds: Ante lost

The possible outcomes for the Play bet are those of standard poker:

Royal Flush: five cards (suited) from 10 to Ace
Straight Flush: five cards (suited) in numerical sequence
Four of a Kind: four cards of the same numerical value or rank
Full House: both Three of a Kind + One Pair

5+1 Bonus bet

At the start of each game round players have the option to place a bet on the side bet 5+1 Bonus. This bet takes into consideration the player's first five cards and the dealer's open card. If the combination of those six card creates a 5-card poker combination of at least Three of a Kind you'll win the bet.

To activate this bet you also have to place an Ante bet, you won't be able to play this side bet without an initial Ante.

The outcome of the bonus bet does not depend on whether you Play the hand or Fold, which means that you can win the bonus bet even if you lose against the dealer.
